The "selfie" is all the rage these days, and one that typically always features someone in it. However, I have something new to introduce to the selfie rage...the shoe selfie. I am excited to launch this new and innovative idea to the photography world and see where it goes. Actually, I'm just kidding. This is all about the remote and timed shutter release and how it can make you find new and creative ways to capture images. It's becoming easier to be behind the camera, but I am still learning how to become better...not just for me, but for the people in front of the camera. Remote shots like this cause me to slow down, to look even closer at composition, and to be a little more creative with each new photo session. This image was taken with a timed release, so the focus point was set, and then I had to step into the right spot to get a decent shot. This was fun...hope you enjoy!
