Railroad tracks and kids...

There is something about railroad tracks that really help a photo tell a story. The story is not always the same, but there is always a story. It's a story of simplicity, of hometown, of a simpler time, or the fact that kids are just fascinated by them. In this image, the families (2 in total) wanted to take photos on the tracks, which is right next to the location of where we were shooting. What I found interesting, and humorous, was once the kids got near the tracks their true personalities came out, and they started enjoying having their picture(s) taken. Like I said..."It's just something about the railroad tracks." This image was taken with a 70-200mm lens on a very bright and sunny day; high ISO and fast shutter. It's not always ideal to shoot on a sunny day, but sometimes it's just the way it is...and, you make it work. Enjoy!
